The Anytime Energy Bar was designed by sports scientist Dr Allen Lim while working as a cycling coach. His athletes were complaining about heavy bars that sat in their stomachs, so he set out to create something better. Each bar, depending on the flavour, contains 200-210 calories and is made up of 50–58% carbohydrates, 34–40% fat and 8–10% protein. They’re also relatively low in sugar (half of the market-leading energy bar), providing your body with the best fuel possible from wholefood ingredients; peanut butter and chocolate, in this case.
