Veloforte began in the kitchen with a simple mission: to create wholesome, delicious, and effective nutrition without synthetic ingredients.
After abdominal surgery, Marc needed a better way to fuel his long rides, so he turned to Lara, whose expertise in baking and heart and lung health (BSc/MSc Distinction) led to the creation of natural energy and protein bars. When Marc shared them with fellow cyclists, Veloforte’s potential became clear. A chance encounter in Mallorca completed the founding team, sparking a journey to revolutionise sports nutrition—from bars and gels to chews, electrolytes, breakfasts, snacks, and shakes.
