The Insane 3 Speedsuit LDT is Surpas's flagship long-distance race suit, built from the custom fabric the brand calls the lightest ever used in a triathlon suit. Surpas builds this suit for its own Olympic and Ironman racing program, not to hit a lower price point.

Surpas describes the Insane 3's fabric as the lightest it has ever put into a triathlon suit, with graded thickness built through the body rather than one uniform weight. An aerodynamic striped material runs down the side panels, across the chest and over the upper arms, paired with turbulators on the shoulders and concave, laser-cut sleeves.
Independent wind-tunnel testing cited by Surpas found an average 3.5% and peak 8%+ aerodynamic gain over a standard suit at 40 to 44km/h, in conditions similar to Kona. Padding is Surpas's Hybrid Cell System built by Elastic Interface in Italy, using perforated foams and a central ventilation channel so the chamois dries out instead of holding water through the ride. It's Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and shaped for noseless saddles, with new underarm panels and a narrower leg opening cutting bulk at the cuffs. One back pocket is enough for race nutrition, keeping the rest of the suit as tight as possible.
