The SPIbelt was born after founder Kim Overton faced an all-too-familiar problem: where am I going to keep all my stuff? Almost 20 years later, the SPIbelt has become an essential piece of kit for runners of all levels across the globe. Expect compact comfort from this handy belt. 

SPIbelt, short for Small Personal Item Belt, filed its first patent and trademark before officially launching at the Austin Marathon in February 2007.
In 2006, founder Kim Overton faced a common runner’s dilemma—where to store her keys. Attempting to tuck them into her bra top proved uncomfortable, sparking her determination to find a solution. She gathered materials and created the first SPIbelt prototype. Today, SPIbelt products are sold in over a thousand U.S. stores and more than 40 countries. Despite its global success, SPIbelt remains headquartered in Austin, TX, where the Original SPIbelts are still handmade.
