While working as a sports scientist and coach for a professional cycling team, Dr. Allen Lim began making his own training food and sports drinks from scratch for the cyclists.
This was in response to the fact that many of the pre-packaged bars and drinks provided to them were filled with artificial ingredients, often causing stomach issues and discomfort during training. To meet the growing demand, Allen assembled a team of close friends and together, they founded a small company in Boulder, Colorado, called Skratch Labs. Their mission is straightforward: to create and offer food and drinks that not only taste great but are made with real ingredients and designed to address the needs of active individuals.
