226ERS© 40g Energy Gel is built 29.2g of carbohydrates, made up of both complex and simple carbohydrate syrups alongside containing sodium and caffeine. Sodium is the principal mineral included in the ingredients which is lost through sweating. A loss of sodium can cause muscle cramps and weaknesses. Its presence within the body increases the absorption rate of water, delays fatigue and reduces the production of urine, something that, as a result, increases fluid levels. The gels also provides potassium which is lost with every muscle contraction to make sure you're at your best whilst training or racing.
