The magic is in the layering. This Ice Bandana has an insulated neoprene outer shell, to block external heat and slow the ice melting, so you get longer cooling from less ice. A perforated inner fabric spreads meltwater evenly across the skin for efficient evaporative cooling, rather than one cold, uncomfortable drip. Unlike single-layer bandanas that place ice directly against the skin, the dual-layer construction buffers the cold for comfortable, sting-free wear.
A wide zip opening allows quick refills on the move, even mid-race, and refined tie length keeps the bandana high and snug against the neck so it moves with you rather than bouncing. Genuinely built for ultra distances, it's been proven across brutal conditions including the Atacama Desert, Western States 100 and Badwater 135.
