Why We Love It
Losing a bottle out the back on a rough course is the kind of thing that ruins a race. The TriRig Kappa Carbon Saddle Cage flips the standard cage design specifically for behind-the-saddle mounting, so the retention tab grips from where bottles actually need the extra hold, and your bottle stays put without straps, cords, or any extra fiddling.
Talk Nerdy To Me
Built on the same no-cutout philosophy as the original Kappa cage, the Saddle version inverts the geometry for rear mounting, with the retention tab appearing as a split feature at the end of each wing rather than above the bottle as on a standard cage. Combined with ultra-thick walls and a solid structure, that flipped design is what gives it such reliable hold over rough terrain. It mounts via zip-tie slots onto standard rear hydration brackets, so it drops onto most behind-the-saddle setups without extra hardware, and it’s sized to fit standard cycling bottles.
