Why We Love It
The Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 headlamp is built for the trail runner who needs to see further than a road headlamp can manage. The adjustable SPORT headband comes with a built-in emergency whistle for when things go wrong, and switching between a punchy trail beam and a softer flood means you've always got the right light for the moment.
Talk Nerdy To Me
A Luminus SST40 white LED and a warm white SST20 push out 1600 lumens to 170 metres at full power, all from a shell weighing just 140g. Eight modes split across three cool white and four warm white levels plus SOS let you switch from a punchy 6500K trail beam to a softer 3000K flood for camp or aid station use. It runs on a 3400mAh 18650 rechargeable battery (Fenix ARB-L18-3400), charges via USB-C in around three hours, and stretches out to 24 hours of usable trail runtime, with two CR123A batteries as a non-rechargeable backup. It's rated IP68 with the port cover fitted, IP66 without, and built to survive a two metre drop.
