Why We Love It
226ERS Recovery Drink is a chocolate recovery shake for the half hour after a hard session, when your muscles and energy stores are most ready to refill. Two scoops shaken into 500ml of water deliver 20.5g of protein and 21.6g of carbohydrate. That's close to a 1:1 split, so one shake covers both jobs without reaching for a second product. It mixes into a smooth drink that's easy to get down straight after a long run, ride or gym session.
Talk Nerdy To Me
The protein comes from grass-fed whey concentrate, paired with potato starch as the carbohydrate source to help replenish glycogen. Each 50g serve also adds 1.5g of creatine monohydrate to support repeated high-intensity efforts, along with 500mg of MCTs, 250mg of L-arginine AKG and 500mg of golden flaxseed. Sweetened with sucralose and thickened with guar and xanthan gum, it keeps sugars to 1.4g per serve while still delivering 190 kcal of recovery fuel.
